Weekend Trip to Malaysia (Day 3)

We lazily woke up late in the morning.

We had to rush to go up for the breakfast.

Or shall I calm it brunch…?

I should exercise because I’ve been eating very well.

I wanted to swim at the pool of Sky Bar where we enjoyed drinks and music last night.

I selfishly occupIed the Twin Tower view. fufufu

After relaxing my body with water, we went to the SPA for 120 mins Spa Treatment: Blissful Renewal.

The menu includes Aromatherapy Foot Ritual, Aromatherapy Massage, Clarifying Facial and Herbal Tea.

We started with drinking herbal tea.

We selected the aroma oil; I selected Oolong for energizing (Lavender, Lime and Oolong Tea).

We moved to a couple room to start our Spa.

I enjoyed it very much though I don’t remember much because I slept well during the treatment.

Nonetheless, my body is totally relaxed and I feel fresh now!

It’s time for cocktail and dinner so we went straight to the Lounge.

Since my body is relaxed, drinks made me feeling even better. hahaha

My BFF made me a killer drink: coffee chocolate and whisky.

It’s her husband’s recipe and it’s nicely Chocolatey.

I regret that I forgot to take a photo.

It’s a hot drink, looks like a mug of coffee.

Now it’s time to roll over on the bed!

This is my favorite moment with BFF.

Weekend Trip to Malaysia (Day 2)

I checked in at the Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

It’s located nearby KLCC Shopping Mall and it has a nice pool bar if we decide to go out of the room.

Since my flight arrived at 5:30 am, I arrived the hotel earlier than normal check in time which is 2:00 pm.

The hotel receptionist is nice allowing us to start using the Club Lounge.

The Lounge has a nice Twin Tower view.

We had our breakfast at the lounge overlooking Twin Tower.

I had my Nasi Lamak and Tose there.

This is how I enhanced my Nasi Lamak.

I added extra beef sausage and brisk and ordered a sunny side up egg from the kitchen.

Tose

My room was ready earlier after finishing my breakfast.

I’ve requested the Twin Tower view and I got a nice view from the room.

After taking a short nap, we went up to the lounge again for a high tea.

And continued for cocktail and dinner. hahaha

It’s getting dark and Twin Tower started to look better and better in the dark.

We decided to take a look of Sky Bar by going up one floor.

This is my favorite bar in a town.

After enjoying its atmosphere, chit chatting, music and drinks at the Sky Bar, we continued chatting in the room overlooking the Twin Tower from the room until we fell sleep.

This how I love to spend my weekend get away with BFF!!!

Weekend Trip to Malaysia (Flight)

I boarded at 11 pm.

The flight was comfortable; the seat is full flat; there are a mattress, comforter, pillow, slippers and cardigan.

There aren’t much for amenity: toothbrush, ear plugs, eye mask and aroma.

There are some amenities available on request basis; I requested for a facial mask.

I also had a side table.

Nowadays ANA plays the safe instruction in Kabuki style.

I’ve watched it before and I watch it again.

I didn’t have a proper dinner because I was looking forward for Ippudo Miso Ramen on flight for supper.

After taking my ramen for supper, I tried to watch a movie but I slept till my early Japanese breakfast.

I safely arrived at KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) to start my lazy weekend with BFF!

Short Trip to Malaysia (Day 1)

It’s long weekend in Japan; therefore I decided to see my BFF in Malaysia.

I booked a ticket few days ago and now I’m at the Haneda Airport.

First, I checked my favorite shop: Chanel Cosmetics.

I become so weak when I look at LIMITED EDITION.

I bought few.

I continued shopping confectioneries for my BFF.

These are Tokyo Banana, Shiroi Koibito (White Love) and Royce Chocolate Remy Martin.

These are my favorite as well.

And guess what?

If I purchase more than JPY 20,000, I can get JPY 1000 vouchers.

I continued shopping and I bought a NICE cosmetic brush.

Now I’m chilling at the ANA Lounge to wait for my boarding time.

I cannot wait to see her in 7 hours! XOXO

Trip to Kyoto (Day 2)

There is no sign of Typhoon 6 in Kyoto.

Visited a friend and had a wonderful time; I feel fresh.

It’s a hot day so wanted to eat a nice Uji Matcha Kakigori (Uji Green Tea Shaved Ice) in Kyoto.

We visited few Japanese cafes but all had a long queue.

I gave up on a nice Uji Matcha Kakigori, then decided to further continue shopping at JR Isetan Kyoto, Kyoto Station before returning to Tokyo.

This time I bought many hair clips of Complex Biz because a lady is so good at teaching me new hair styles.

I happily bought these. hahaha

I bought Eki Ben (Boxed Food for on the Train) and Kyoto Craft Beer (Dark Beer) for Shinkansen.

I had Mango Ice Cream for dessert.

This was a great break for me.

Trip to Kyoto (Day 1)

I had sushi at Sushi Train Kantaro at Tokyo Station before departing for Kyoto.

I can take a plate freely from sushi train or order through the digital order system.

When it’s ready, it will arrive on the truck above.

We had many sushi.

Now I’m ready to depart for Kyoto by Shinkansen.

I had my dessert, seasonal ice cream/mango ice cream, and coffee, on the Shinkansen.

Typhoon 6 is approaching; therefore, there is no sign of Mt. Fuji today.

I’m glad that I’ve safely arrived Kyoto without any delay.

I like Japanese traditional things and started shopping at Kyoto Station: Kyoto Souvenir Shop Iwai.

Finally, I checked in at our usual hotel in Kyoto, Kyoto Century Hotel and went out for shopping at JR Kyoto Isetan, Kyoto Station.

I know I should shop in Tokyo because no much of difference.

However, when I’m in Tokyo, I always have something to do and I could not find time for no plan shopping.

Usually. the department store welcomes us with cosmetics.

I love the colour that was available last year – one of Les 4 OmbrĂ©s series.

I’ve been hunting for it or similar colour and I learned that popular cosmetics can run out fast.

True enough I get one product that is only one left.

I’ve got samples for Lifting!

I shall try them!

I continued shopping for clothes.

I had so much fun shopping and window shopping.

The store closed at 8 pm so we had no choice but stop shopping.

We had Kyoto cuisine at Manju, Underground Shopping Area Porta, Kyoto Station.

Kyoto Craft Beer

And Kyoto Seasonal Set.

We enjoyed a slow walk back to hotel after dinner by looking at Kyoto Iconic Buildings.

Kyoto Station, Central Exit.

Kyoto Tower

I love visiting Kyoto and I never get board!

Ideal Week

Usually, something will come up and I won’t be able to complete my week like this.

Nonetheless, I managed for a week and this is my ideal week.

Monday, 3 June 2019, Exercise at Tipness Roppongi

Tuesday, 4 June 2019, Exercise at Megalos 0+ Ebisu

Friday, 7 June 2019, VoltBox at Megalos Hibiya

Saturday, 8 June 2019, Spa at May’s Garden Spa

Sunday, 9 June 2019, Diving at Bommie Diving Shop, Ito (Tateyama), Chiba

It has been 11 months since my last dive.

Fishermen feed sharks and stingray to protect fish from them; therefore, there are many and I really mean MANY sharks and stingrays at the East Bouy Point.

I was hit by sharks and stingrays.

There is a cute frogfish.

I use old iPhone 5 as my camera so it’s not equip to take a small creature.

This is the best shot for a frogfish.

On the other hand, my friend recently bought a Panasonic TG-5 and took a nice photo using microscope mode. Ta~da~

There are many different designed cute seaslugs.

But my photos are not sharp and clear enough.

Shall I buy a camera so that I can take photos like these? hummmmm

Trump’s Visit to Tokyo

I returned from Australia and I was surprised to see many police men in my neighborhood: Roppongi Area.

Soon I found why; President Trump was invited as the first State Guest of the new Emperor Naruhito.

American Embassy is located in the area and Prime Minister Abe was planning to take Mr. and Mrs. Trump for a dinner at the restaurant in Roppongi.

I felt very safe when I was walking in the park at night because I bumped into a police man every 5-10 m. hahaha.

I pitied police men because Trump’s Visit was on 25 – 28 May 2019 and Roppongi was crowded by people due to the event: Roppongi Art Night on 25 – 26 May 2019.

The arts were displayed.

And there was the free opened air documentary movie on Banksy.

I met up with parents for dinner.

It was difficult to get a table on Saturday, 25 May 2019.

I visited few restaurants and I managed to get a table that was just cleared at Le Pain Quotidien, Tokyo Midtown Roppongi.

I usually come here for a brunch and it was my first time having a dinner here.

I even like their dinner menu!

It’s simple, fresh, delicious and economical.

The restaurant is highly recommended for dinner as well!

Trip to Australia (Day 6)

There is an itinerary for Day 6 for Trip to Australia: returning to Tokyo by JL 774.

One day is used as follows:

Departing Melbourne at 0:05 hrs by JL 774

Arriving Tokyo at 9:05 hrs.

If this is official tour programme, I should enjoy my journey.

I like the design of amenity bag.

JAL collaborated with Tatsumura Textile Co Ltd (Kyoto).

The crane is corporate logo for JAL and it is a good luck charm for Japanese culture.

I like the design!

I have my UNIQLO down jacket but I prefer to use their cardigan which is soft and warm.

Sayonara Melbourne.

Sayonara Australia.

My seat/bed was made to make my flight comfortable.

I comfortably watched the movie: the Mule.

While watching the movie, the supper was served.

After hours, I asked for Jangara Ramen.

Yes, the flight serves Jangara that I like.

However, it wasn’t porky enough but satisfactory as inflight meal.

Wow, there is a corporate logo on the soup spoon.

After hours, breakfast was served before landing.

I decided to have Japanese for breakfast.

I requested a cup of coffee because soon I will drive back to house.

I can see clearly that we are approaching Narita Airport.

Boo boo, landed…

It was a fun trip.

I had good laughs with tour mates and I managed to reach to the summit of Ayers Rock.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post on reaching to the summit of Ayers Rock on Day 3 of Trip to Australia.

I should consider planning to go to Mt. Fuji.

Hummmm

Trip to Australia (Day 5)

It’s going to be the last day in Australia. Sob sob sob.

Going down for breakfast and I wish I could stay longer.

We started Melbourne City Sightseeing.

I was surrounded by great nature so this is a rehabilitation progress to return to hectic city Tokyo. hahaha

We walked and took tram to visit iconic places in Melbourne.

Administrative district area: Old Treasury Building.

Next to it is new Treasury Bldg.

Parliament House with Real Australian Flag – aborigine colour.

Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Garden.

Royal Exhibition Building is Australia’s first UNESCO site.

The garden is opened to people and animals.

Trees are wrapped by metal sheets to protect trees from possum.

Melbourne is generous to people.

We took free area tram to go places.

Flinders Street Station

These clocks state train departure time.

It’s a large station.

St. Paul’s Cathedral

There is an interesting signal; symbols are wearing skirt – women!

Go Women!

We shopped at Queen Victoria Market.

Few buildings are connected and sold many fresh and interesting products.

There is one building for household and sundry goods.

The atmosphere is like a night market in Asia.

I had a Long Black and Flat White at Market Lane.

I need to tell my name and barista can write my name correctly without asking me for spelling.

I was impressed!

I bought chocolates at Koko Black, known as Australian Godiva; very nice.

I love coffee so I bought some coffee at Mc Ivers.

These are really good shopping!

There are many more tempting products but I cannot bring back all…

Honey

Spice

ETC.

We departed Queen Victoria Market for lunch.

We had a fish & chips at Holiday Inn.

We drove about one hour to reach to winery Domaine Chandon.

This winery is family of Moët Chandon.

We had a little tasting for 4 different sparkling wines.

Lastly, we can ask for one full glass of our choice.

I asked for unique red grape sparkling wine which is only available at this winery.

There is another unique sparkling wine available at this winery: iced wine sparkling wine.

I bought few bottles each for home.

After tasting nice, we had one last dinner in Australia.

I asked for a beer and I thought the size is not fair comparing to a wine.

Food was nice and so as conversation with your mates.

Then we went to our last sightseeing point: EUREKA SKYDECK.

We walked through a glass cubical that control people on the outside terrace, we can observe the city as if we were a bird overlooking from the sky.

Now we completed all sightseeing in Melbourne.

It’s time to go back to Tokyo.

After completing last minutes shopping at the airport duty free stores, I spent at the Marhaba Lounge till departure.
