My friend sent me 10kg of special rice, Isehikari.
It’s so special because Emperor himself planted to harvest these rice.
I will surely appreciate every bites!

I attended dinner function on behalf of my boss who is on leave.
Th restaurant is located at Sky Tree, the tallest building and communication tower in Japan with height of 634 m.

This nice Japanese cuisine restaurant, Shokkan is located on 30th Floor with a great view.
Of course, during the function, I couldn’t take any photos, but I arrived earlier to explore the area.

At the bottom of the Sky Tree, there is a shopping area named Solamachi, meaning sky town.
It was fun walking around the area till dinner time.

Though, there aren’t any photos of food, Japanese food was presented nicely by admiring and it was delicious.
When I’m in Asakusa area, I should make a reservation for dinner here to save cost for visiting observation room: JPY 2,500. hahaha

Today, I went to Yodobashi Camera Akihabara to buy GoPro Hero 6.
On the internet, I found new GoPro, GoPro Hero 6, is available in the market.
I wear waiting for a new GoPro for diving.
Yes, I got it!!

A box is big, but I got only few pieces.
I placed an order for casing for 60 m under water.

I’m still trying to figure out how to operate it on the internet because it dosen’t come with a manual.
After purchase it, I had nice ramen at Ifu, Akihabara, Tokyo.

I had Noukou Miso Ramen Special (Thick Miso with all-Cheshu (pork), egg, nori (seaweed), negi (leeks)).
Egg was hidden under leeks, but there was a nice flavored egg.
It’s nice Ramen!

Today, I was Akiba Girl to check electronics at Akihabara, Tokyo.
On the other hand, Tokyo was busy receiving President Trump.
Tokyo is decorated by American and Japanese flags and many roads are blocked for security reasons. Ahhhhh
The other day I gave a lift to my uncle.
It was nothing because going by two (Mom and I) or three (Uncle, Mom and I) are the same.
However, he want to show his appreciation by inviting us (Mom and I) to his apartment.

It was nice of them to prepare high-tea for us.

I was driving so Uncle prepared non-alcohol beer for me.
My first time to try Suntory All-Free and surprisingly, it’s nice and rich in hop.

We chatted for four hours non-stop.
Uncle showed off his collection of mint and coins.
I didn’t know that he is a collector!!
These are few of his collection.

To show his appreciation, he gave me the Silver Coin for the 60th Anniversary of Enforcement of the Local Autonomy Law.
There are 47 coins for 47 prefectures: of course, he has all 47 coins for 47 prefectures.
He has two sets for Tokyo Prefecture to give me one.

It’s so beautiful and comes together with memorial stamps.

He has nine coins for memorial of nine Shinkansen in set.

He gave me loose ones; it’s equally nice as a set.

He also gave me loose coins for Japan 47 Prefectures Coin Programme for Tokyo and Chiba prefecture version.

Thank you; I’ll keep them nicely.
After spending wonderful time with Uncle and Aunty, we had Italian dinner with Dad near from home.
We reported all to him and showed my new collection of coins. hahaha

I took Kintetsu Line to go to Tojo (East Temple) Station.

Toji Station is one stop away from Kyoto Station.

This is the main gate of Toji (East Temple).
Toji was established by Kanmu Tennoh (Emperor Kanmu) in 796.
Saga Tennoh (Emperor Saga) bestowed Toji to Kukai (Japanese Buddhist) in 823.
There was Saiji (West Temple) then.
Saiji was managed by the government (emperor); but the government couldn’t afford to maintain the temple at the time.
On the other hand, believers of Shingon Sect keeps good care of Toji.

Toji is equally important as Headquarters of Shingon Sect: Koyasan (Mt. Koya).

This temple was originally established by Emperor so we can find the Emperor’s Emblem: Kikuno Gomon (Chrysanthemum).
There is a Dainichi Nyorai (Sun of Buddha) and many more Buddha statues.
I sat in front of Dainichi Nyorai to enjoy quiet and peaceful moment.
This temple’s principal Buddha is Yakushinyorai (Healing Buddha).
I also sat in front of Yakushinyorai to be healed.
Toji is famous for Gojyu no To (Five-Stories Pagoda).

It’s autumn so trees start changing colour.
It makes nice sound when rain drops hit them.

There is Yashimaden (Shrine) in the Toji.
This Shrine was established before Toji; therefore, this Shrine remained at the original place as a part of Toji.

It continues raining heavily so went back to Kyoto Station for lunch.
I had Kyoto cuisine at Restaurant Kurama, Kyoto Station.

At last, I enjoyed a Hojicha (roasted tea) parfait at my favorite Tsuruya Yoshinobu Cafe, Irodori, Kyoto Station.

Now I’m on the way back to Kyoto by Shinkansen (bullet train).

But now Shinkansen stopped and parked before Nagoya Station due to heavy rain in Shizuoka.
Typhoon 22 is approaching Japan.
This is my first experience to be stacked in Shinkansen.
I’m fine because Shinkansen is equipped with an outlet to charge my mobile at my seat and toilets!
I left hotel early to attend the Buddhist ceremony.

Hotel is conveniently near to Subway Karasuma Line Karasuma Station.

It’s only two stations away from JR Kyoto Station to catch JR Biwako Line for Ishiyama Station.

This is my first experience to attend Gomataki (Special Buddhist Ceremony for Prayer).
I’m honored and blessed to be invited to the event.
I suffered during the ceremony because I sat Seiza (Japanese traditional way to sit by folding leds).
My legs became numb…but it was worth it.
After returned to hotel, checked in again.
Kyoto is a popular place for Japanese and foreign tourists; therefore, we couldn’t stay in the same room due to hotel reservation status.
But it’s fine with us because we could enjoy two types of room during my Kyoto stay.
Tonight, we are staying at Japanese style room.

We had Kyoto cuisine at Irifune, Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Kyoto.
Mom and I enjoyed chatting over Kyoto Japanese Sake, Kagura.
I was full and I like window shopping; we went out for walk.
Kyoto is a nice city for walk, just simply for walking.
