Having Fun in Few Ways

The tough part of work is done; I’m glad to know that many participants approached their targets.

The event is opened to public today and tomorrow.

I walked around the venue.

She is an Android at the Play Station area.

She is so real!

Cosplaying

Is this a cosplay as well…?

Must be difficult to walk in this costume.

I went to a different hall (Hall 8) to view Konami’s e-Sports event: Winning Eleven (football game).

Wahhhh it’s so real!!!

After 5 o’ o’clock, I became a party person.

I went to Two Rooms in Omotesando, Tokyo.

This place is a nice place to hang out.

There are many people hanging out despite Saturday night and nice view, overlooking Shinjuku’s skyline.

I couldn’t take a photo of the place, but this is THE Place that I should visit again.

Good night!

Sunday Before a Storm

First, I went to send my laundry to Laundry Shop Pony.

Then, stopped by Don Quijote (we call it Donki for short) to buy household goods such as detergents, pocket tissue, etc. and boosters: (emergency) Mon Cafe drip coffee, Clorets (gums) and Manan Life Konnyaku (konjak) Grape and Peach Jelly.

I also stopped by at Book 1st, newly opened book store at Roppongi.

It’s very comfortable staying there so I read Scuba Diving Guide and Self Enlightmenr Book: Tado-Ryoku (Multi Task Power).

My short stay at a book store refresh me♪

Saturday Before a Storm

I went to hair salon this morning because I won’t have any weekend or even a day off in September.

I miss Roku-chan, a cute mascot of this hair salon.

The weather is nice and I finished early.

Now it’s cooler in the morning and evening.

I decided to walk under soft sunshine.

Shops are yet to open at Roppongi Hills.

I enjoy window shopping while I see staffs are busily getting ready to open a shop

I stopped by at my favorite supermarket, Meidi-Ya,  to stock up my food for a week.

The other day, I introduced Super Food Granola.

This time, I bought Dorset Cereals (Cranberry, Cherry & Almond) as my emergency food.

I’ll eat this when I’m tired to cook food. hahaha

In the afternoon, I took a nap.

I feel lazy to do anything today.

Farewell

I knew her from work.

She finished her term in Japan and will return to her country in two weeks.

We never went out privately, but I asked her for a dinner.
We started Robatayaki (charcoal grilled food) dinner at Ginza Hakobune Shizuku at 6 pm.

We had so much fun, so we continued our chat at Tommy Bahama, Ginza.

There is a dining place at Tommy Bahama’s butique.

Cakes and non-alcohol mojito are nice!

I’m going to miss her; we shall keep in touch!

Enjoy Girl’s Night @ the Palace Hotel Tokyo

I am invited for the Palace Hotel’s reception to have a hotel tour and to enjoy their drinks and  food.

The Hotel is located nearby the Imperial Place and Marunouchi Financial District, Tokyo; the view from the hotel is nice and open.

The hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World with nice facilities.

Banquet Rooms

Evian Spa

And Rooms

Fortunately, my boss couldn’t make it to this event because he was ordered to attend a meeting that he couldn’t escape from.

I had nice drinks, food and chat with my friend from a sister organization.

Her boss cannot make it, neither because he caugh a flue: influenza.

We simply enjoyed the event without our superiors presence!

Furthermore, the event is free!

And so sweet of them, I received a door gift: raisin and cranberry witches.

Cafe Day

My friends from Singapore gave me this Singaporean brand TWG Alfonso (Mango) Iced Tea for a sourvenir.

It has rich Mango fragrance and deep flavour.

It turned my room into a nice cafe.

In the evening, I remember I have a voucher that expires on 31 August 2017 for a free sandwich or desert at Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi, Tokyo.
I decided to get a sandwich and juice for dinner.

Unfortunately, a store that I picked sold out an egg sandwich so I got a pudding.

To my sirprise, Recipe and Market’s pudding is so eggy!

It’s small, but can give you satisfaction!

It was a cafe day and calming day.

Sunday @ Roppongi, Tokyo

Today, my friends from Malaysia visited me in Roppongi, Tokyo.

I took them to Toraya Cafe, Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi, Tokyo.

I also wanted to try Toraya’s shave ice.

I heard about it, but haven’t tried because I always see a long queue for the restaurant.

This time, I stayed on the queue.

I tried Uji Mizore (greentea shave ice with white sweet azuki beans).

I added three shiratama (rice-flour balls).

So delicious!

There is a big electric panel for entertainment.

There is an event collaborating with the electric board and 300 fireworks; but we didn’t have time to wait for it for another hour.

We missed the fireworks.

We also stopped by to catch Doraemons at Roppongi Hills.

There are many Doraemons!

My friend is so sweet.

She carried bath salts what my other friend asked her to bring them for me.

These are heavy…

It’s so sweet of my friend to thought of me because she knows I take bath every night.

And another friend who brought all the way from Malaysia and carried for a day till she she sees me today.

No joke, these are heavy!

I’m happy to have thoughful friends!

Yes, I soaked in the bath and feel refreshing!

Roppongi, Tokyo

I had breakfast at my regular breakfast place: Eggcellent, Roppongi Hills, Tokyo.

I had an egg benedict plate.

After breakfast, I went to shopping at Roppongi Midtown, Tokyo.

I enjoyed window shopping and found hats that I was looking for!

After visiting boutiques, I stopped by for a drink at the lounge of the Ritz Carlton, Roppongi, Tokyo.

The lobby and the lounge of the Ritz are on 45th Floor; therefore, the scenery is nice overlooking Tokyo such as Akasaka (the State Guest House) and Shinjuku.

The live music, piano and violin, is playing and the scenery is nice; I felt like drinking bubble. fufufu

Breakfast @ Denny’s, Ginza, Tokyo

It is Japanese national holiday today:  Mountain Day.

Due to the global warming, the Summer in Japan has been very hot.

Originally, there isn’t any national holiday; therefore, the Japanese government created a national holiday in August.

Our office building was closed; we knew it’s going to be quiet today.

We went to Denny’s (the US origins dining restaurant) for breakfast.

In Japan, we call this type of restaurant, family restaurant because all family member can go and dine.

I enjoyed breakfast there.
