Hanamaru Udon

We order a base Udon (noodle) from a menu and pick additional side dishes such as tempura – those are charged.

I added few tempura and Inari (rice wrapped by tofu) as additional side dishes and free toppings such as tenkasu (tempura bits), sesame and ginger.

It’s economical and fun to create an own Udon.

Day 3 in Langkawi

The place is so peaceful.

I’m so lucky that I woke up and this is what I see from my room.

We went to Payar Island to dive.

This is the beach house.

This is the platform; it took one hour to reach Payar Island by a ferry.

The beach house

I dived at the Coral Garden and Platform Reef.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a waterproof camera to share any photo; I will consider purchasing it.

It’s totally different world…

On that night, we went to Chinese style seafood restaurant Orchid Ria.

Food is delicious and reasonable.

Whatever you order, it’s just nice.

Desserts are also nice: fresh fruit and Khalua ice cream.

This is worth going! Orchid Ria!

This restaurant is highly recommended to go!!

Day 2 in Langkawi, Malaysia

Ate a power breakfast at Invito Hotel before heading for Langkawi.

Took a Malinda Air to Langkawi.

Yeah, Langkawi!

We stayed at the Dayang Bay Resort.

I had a nice ocean view.

The room is simple, but cozy.

We went to Malay traditional body massage and I highly recommend this Spa, the Bellies Spa.

We went to dinner.

We are advised Chinese restaurant Pat Poh by a taxi driver; but I don’t recommend this restaurant.

I think we were ripped off coz we are foreigners.

Quality is not there, but food is expensive!

It wasn’t worth taking a photo, so I didn’t take any.

I warn you, don’t go to Pat Poh!

Day 1 in Kuala Lumpur

Somehow connection was bad in Malaysia, not able to upload my blog.

This is what happened on the first day in Malaysia.

We arrived Kuala Lumpur early in the morning.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t check in our rooms, but hotel is kind to allow us to use their shower booths at the gym.

I could use a waiting room equipped with AC. Yeah

After we got ready, we went out.

Malaysia just celebrated Deepavali on 28 October, a Hindu Festival; I could find Deepavali decoration everywhere.

These arts are made by colored rice.

I enjoyed Malay food and many different types of durian desserts.

This is Nasi Lamat.

Durian Desserts.

This is glutinous rice with durian soup.

Durian layered cake and durian puffs

I had a durian day.

I didn’t eat this, but I would like to share this photo because this durian cake does look like a real durian with such details.

Amazing!

This Moonlight Cafe House serves other nice cakes as well: mango cake.

These are surely something that I cannot have it in Japan.
In Kuala Lumpur, we stayed at Invito Hotel.

It’s spacious and equipped with a kitchen.

We decided to go to Langkawi♪

Short Trip to Malaysia

On 3 November, it is Japanese national holiday, Cultural Day.
I found ANA’s new line, NH 885 between Handa (Tokyo) and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This flight departs Haneda at 00:05 hrs and arrives KL at 6:45 hrs.

I can work on the departure day to maximize my stay in Malaysia.

It’s worth taking few days off, right?

I took dinner at ANA Lounge;

enjoyed snacks/finger food with champagne on the plane;

we had a breakfast (eggs Benedict style with veal sausage served with Japanese Hiruzen jersey butter and blood orange jam) before arriving KL.

Let’s start my holiday in Malaysia!

Golf at J Tsurugashima Golf Country Club

I am a lucky person enabling to play golf three consecutive week.

Of course, I am not happy with my game coz I misshoot how many strokes?

Yes, I do think over and over “what if…?” theory, but it’s too late.

But I’m still thankful that I could spend a wonderful day at J Tsurugasaki Country Club today.

It’s a nice challenging course.

By the way, J Tsurugashima serves delicious lunch.

I had Oyakodon (family rice bowl – chicken and egg rice bowl) and it’s nice!

I highly recommend Oyakodon!

For dinner, we went to our favorite tempura shop, Mikaku Roppongi.

Good exercise, good food…now I need good sleep!

Good night!

Saturday Night Activities

Enjoyed dinner at the Moon, Roppongi Hills 52F.

The Moon is an observation restaurant to enjoy Tokyo’s skyline while we enjoy dinner.

After enjoyed dinner and conversation with friends, we went to the Kokucho no Mizuumi (the Black Swan) in Shinjuku.

Ladies are beautiful and glamorous, but they are all  transgenders. Wow.

We enjoyed watching their performance; dance, dance, dance ♪

After midnight, there are still many people on the street walking in their Halloween costume.

Town is also decorated for Halloween.

In Japan, Halloween is for adults to go out for parting.

Trick or Treat.
