I had body, facial and hair treatment at May’s Garden Spa, Roppongi.
I could feel knots in my body, but now these are all untied.

I asked my chiropractor to train me.
The benefit of asking him is he knows how my body should function.
If I overwork, he immediately fixes my body.
I have 80 mins session with him.
I worked out using machines mainly to stretch my body for 50 mins; then last 30 mins was fixing my body by his chiropractic massage.
I could feel my muscles working right.
I look forward for the next session!
I hope I can have a body by summer.
I trust my chiropractor.
I asked him whether he trains people and to my surprise he said “yes”.
He might be able to teach me suitable training menu for my body and needs.
Let’s fill up the registration form.

The other night, my friend introduced me Inaba Yakushi.
This temple is known for preventing cancers.
Since my family is cancer family, I could have it in my genes.
I decide to go for praying.

This temple is located conveniently nearby the hotel (Kyoto Karasuma Hotel).

At all temples and shrines, first, we need to purify ourselves by washing our hands (gargling mouth is excluded today due to the hygiene reason).
It brought peace in my mind when I saw flowers floating on water.
It’s simple action but memorable.

Then I prayed.

We returned to hotel to check out and proceeded to Kyoto Station with our luggage.
Left our luggage at coin locker (JPY 700) which is located nearby Shinkansen (bullet train) exit: Hachijo Exit.

Then we took JR Abiko Line to Ohtsu Station.

Went to Enjo Ji (Enjo Temple) or commonly known as Mitsui Dera (Mitsui Temple).

There are many places to visit and pray in the premises.

Shaka-Do (Buddha Temple)

The area is so green and large; I enjoyed walking the premises.

I hit the Kane (bell) to bring peace to ancestors.

Kane weights 2 tons.

At Kindo, we could prey to three special Buddhas at the period of 28 April to 20 May 2018.
I’m blessed.

Akai Ya (Holy Water House)
Today, this temple is commonly called Mitsui Dera; based on its Chinese characters, it means Three Wells.
However, it originally meant Holy Well (Mii).
The water from this well is offered to Buddhas.
The dragon was engraved by Hidari Jingoro to calm Biwako (Biwa Lake).

I can see fresh water welling out.

There are many more to visit and pray.
Benkei Sho (Benkei’s Bell)

There is an interesting omikuji (fortune slip).
This is the instruction.

Pick a bell shaped fortune slip from a pot; float on water to read the number that appears on it; go back to the shop to get the numbered slip to get fortune/advise/lessons.
I pulled No. 42; it’s Kichi (good fortune).

Issai Kyozo (Storage for Sutras)

Some Japanese movies are taking here.
I can understand that because the premises are well kept.

I walked through its gate and looked back;
it looks nice.

Even from the path way.

There is a small paths.

There is even a half ruined bridge.

According to the map, I’m still half way.

Bimyoji (Bimyo Temple)

Shuho Kannon (Goddess of Mercy for People)

There are still many more to visit and pray.

Finally reaching to Mitsui Dera Kannon Do (Mitsui Temple’s Goddess of Mercy Temple/the Main Temple).

We need to climb these stairs.

Hondo (the Main Temple)

We could meet the special Buddha today.

The temple has a nice Japanese garden.

There are many more to visit and pray in the area of Hondo.
Noh Butai (Noh Dance Stage)

Hyakutai Kannon Do (the temple for 100 Goddess of Mercy through out Japan)

Shoroh (House for Bell)

Mani Guruma (Prayer Wheel)
If you turn a stone once, it means you recite sutra once.

We can take a break overlooking Biwako (Biwa Lake: Japan’s largest lake)

Finally, the last place: Suikanji (Suikan Temple)

It was a nice day to walk through the temple.
It’s cooler compared to Kyoto because the wind from Biwako lower the temperature.
I took a train back to Kyoto to catch Shinkansen back home (Tokyo).

We had Lundi (Lunch and Dinner) at Japanese Restaurant Kurama, Kyoto Station.

Though I stayed at the hotel in Kyoto, I visited Shiga (Ishiyama City twice and Otsu City once) three times and Hyogo (Akashi City) once.
For next trip, I will plan to visit temples in Kyoto.
I haven’t play a golf for quite some time.
It’s been a nice day for a golf.
Rented a car using Times Car Share.
Times operates parking space and now equipped with rental car service.
I can rent a car by specific hours.

It is a nice day to play a golf.
I was fortunate to admire mount sakura.

I also enjoyed nice lunch served by a club house.

I had a nice day!!!
I was simply busy with work this week.
I had business meetings to arrange, coordinating a reporter for the media programme for the event, Preparation for quarterly KPI report; in addition, my boss is suddenly called back to the headquarters next Monday so I had to arrange his air ticket and presentation material.
With no exception, after I submitted the presentation which was a total of 25 pages, my boss requested this and that to be included and charts…I prepared a total of 40 pages.
He didn’t comment on the final presentation material, but he acknowledged receipt of it so I consider it’s done.
Today, I went to spa for body treatment.
Yes, I need a nice break.
It started with taking a hydro jet bath; it’s strong jacuzzi and this system is developed by Australia.
It stimulates to sweat.

Today, I learned why it’s important and how to take a deep breath.
According to a beautician, I need to take more oxygen to stimulate my metabolism.
Hummm, I take note that I need to take a deep breath frequently.
Spa gave me Roku-Chan Tenugui (Japanese style towel).

Tokyo-Chan is a mascot of Hollywood May’s Garden Spa.
He has returned to his (owner’s) house and hasn’t come back yet.
I miss him.

At the evening, I joined parents for a dinner at Wolfgang Puck Pizza, Akasaka Ark Hills.
We like to dine here after the concert at the Suntory Hall, Akasaka Ark shills.

Mom and I continued drinking at my room.
She is staying over night because we plan furniture hunting tomorrow.
We opened Canadian Ice Wine, Inniskillin.
We remember our trip to Canada in winter 2016.
Wine and our memories are both sweet.
Kanpai (Cheers).

I discovered a nice standing sushi restaurant at Tokyo Station: Hakodate Tachiguizushi Kantaro.
Seafoods are so fresh and harmony of rice is just right.
This restaurant is highly recommended.

Then I went to continue furniture hunting – bed.
I went to Dream Bed at Shibuya and I found a bed… fufufu

I was excited that I found a bed…next I need to relax…
Nowadays, I type crazily.
Yes, massage would be nice.
I had 30 mins foot massage and 30 mins shiatsu (body massage).
Massager, she is good.
The place is clean; massage is nice; I’m happy.
I also highly recommend this massage salon: Ginza Ashian, Roppongi.
Yes, the name of massage salon is GINZA Ashian, though it’s located in Roppongi.
The first salon is opened in Ginza; therefore, named Ginza Ashian.
I feel good and relaxed.

I went for the second body and facial treatment today because I get Birthday Girl discount for spa treatment this month.
I learned greatly how to treat my body and face.
It was nice three hours.

Then I went to Haneda International Airport at night to pick up my friend from Australia.
Yes, I will have busy day and night with her starting tomorrow. hahaha

We have a custom to throw roasted soybeans on every 3 February (New Year Day by Old Calendar) to wish for good luck.
I enjoy eating them after the ceremony.
Then I thought these are soybeans that are full of protein and isoflavone.
I bought these for snacking and not for Japanese cultural ceremony.

I decide to reward myself.
I went to May’s Garden Spa, Roppongi for 120 minuets body treatment and 60 minuets facial treatment.
I relaxed my body there.

In the afternoon, I invited my friends for lunch and chatting.
Today, my friend brought a baumkuchen.
Though, I enjoyed these cakes, none of my friends brought so-called birthday cake.
We are school mates; we had so much to talk as long as eight hours!
We laughed through.
I was smiling all day long.
