Halloween Night

My dinner appointment got cancelled at the last minutes.

I decide to go for Magma Spa (stone spa) to detox my skin.

Recently, I have some skin problem; I suspect it is caused by lack of sweat to clean my pores.

After nice Magma Spa for 80 mins, I decide to walk back home to cool down.

The Spa is located at Marunouchi Financial District, Tokyo.

Marunouchi is also the place for shopping.

It’s nice to window shop at night!!!

Walking through Hibiya area – another shopping and dining area, Tokyo.

Akasaka, Tokyo.

In Roppongi, there are many people marching in costumes.

I want to take some photos of them, but there are many people and even interviewers to take photos of them!

hahaha

I my case, my Halloween night is very healthy; hopefully, you’ll have some fun on Halloween!

Trick or Treat!

Weekend in Kyoto

Mom asked me to join her to Kyoto.

I love to visit Kyoto; of course, I accepted her invitation

After office, I went to Tokyo Station to meet Mom and catch a Shinkansen (Bullet Train).

Tokyo Station is crowded around 6 pm with people rushing back home after business and going out of city for pleasure like me.

After 2 hours and 15 minutes journey, I arrived Kyoto Station.

I had nothing to look for; but I stopped by a sourvenir shop at Kyoto Shinkansen platform area.

I love to admire and check Kyoto handicrafts and delicacies.

Then, checked in at Karasuma Kyoto Hotel.

I took a bath and relaxing on the bed.

Let’s explore Kyoto AGAIN!

Gloomy Wednesday

It’s a gloomy Wednesday, cloudy and raining.

Though, gloomy, it wasn’t a bad day.

I was quite lucky because when I was walking on the street, rain stopped or drizzled.

I had my lunch at my favorite hiding lunch spot: Sun-mi, Ginza, Tokyo.

These are some examples.

And I received two 10% discount coupons for going there on a rainy day.

Somhow I feel lucky.

Buying Two New Pair of Black Shoes at ASICS WALKING at EXIT MELSA 3F., Ginza, Tokyo

I posted how I love ASICS WALKNG shoes before because its shoe sole is so soft and it has nice cushions to protect my knees.

I cannot wear other than ASICS WALKING shoes now.

It’s so comfortable!

Mom likes it, too.

I wore a black pair on Sunday.

Mom tried my shoes and she likes it very much because it fits her nicely.

She asked me to leave the pair for her.

Logically, it’s possible because we are biologically same: mother and daughter.

Tonight, I went to a new location of Ginza Store:  EXIT MELSA 3rd Floor, Ginza, Tokyo, to buy a pair of black shoes.

I requested to measure my both feet to place cushions according to shape of my foot.

Instead of one, I bought two pairs. hahaha

Ordinary Monday

I anticipated heavy rain at the time of commuting due to Typhoon 21; but there was no rain, just cloudy.

My subway was working okay with a slight delay on schedule.

My morning was peaceful because my boss is taking a week off.

Nowadays, I go out for lunch to get fresh air.

I had an Ankake Udon (a thick starchy noodle) at Seigetsudo Sabo (Seigetsudo Cafe), Ginza, Tokyo.

This restaurant/cafe is operated by Japanese traditional confectionery maker; the udon is Kyoto style and has delicate taste.

The place is quiet and I enjoyed quiet moment for a while.

After work, I went to gym.

It’s a quiet Monday after Typhoon.

Dating with Dad

I replaced Mom to accompany Dad to Tokyo Symphony Monthly Concert, Suntory Hall, Akasaka, Tokyo.

Tonight’s Programme:

F. Liszt: Prelude and Fugue on the name B-A-C-H, S. 260

A. Schonberg: Variations for Orchestra, op. 31

S. Rachmaninov: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, op. 43

M. Ravel: Bolero

Tonight’s concert was conducted by my favorite conductor: Mr. Jonathan Nott.

He conducted as if he is dancing at Bolero: energetic, passionate and rhythmical!

After the concert, we had Californian Cuisine at Wolfgang Pack Pizza Bar.

We enjoyed food and chatting.

Father-Daugter’s night is not bad.

Productive Evening…?

I clocked out 5 o’clock tonight and went to Azabu-Juban, Tokyo to pick up my car that returned from the auto inspection.

I’ve been driving this car for 13 years and still love it.

Then, went to grocery shopping and ate dinner.

After dinner, went to gym for cycling and reading a magazine for 30 mins.

Took a bath.

Am I productive?

No.

I need to burn negative energy and feeling.

I should burn fat as well. hahaha

Friday Night at Kanda, Tokyo

Kanda is at downtown Tokyo.

There are many restaurants with history and uniqueness.

First, I had a Dotenabe (Oyster Claypot) at Suishin, Kanda, Tokyo.

This restaurant is a Izakaya type (casual Japanese bar restaurant.)

After this, went to Suntory Whisky Bar at Kanda, Tokyo.

This bar is an old fashion bar.

Many reserved bottles are kept in food lift. hahaha

I had few glasses of Highball (whisky and soda).

Downtown Tokyo is fun♪
