Loppi

My Malaysian friend asked me to buy tickets to Ghibli Museum because he couldn’t buy them online.

I also checked online, but tickets are sold out for July 2017.

I thought there are some tickets reserved for Loppi.

Loppi is a ticketing machine placed at LAWSON convenient shops.

We can buy tickets 24/7.

This is Loppi like an ATM machine.

Unfortunately, all tickets are sold out on any dates in July 2017!

On 10th of every month, tickets will be available to purchase for the next month.

Well, my friends need to plan to visit Tokyo again!

Saving Paper

I stopped buying magazines.

But it doesn’t mean I lost interest in beauty, health and fashion.

I try to read them at the gym while I exercise.

In this case, I can save money, paper and space in my room, but able to obtain information♪

And finally my gym installed WiFi!

Gym is located in B1 (basement); therefore, 4G is out of reach.

I’m happy with a news.

I quickly registered password.

If we could use WiFi there, we can have more fun!

Docomo

I visited Docomo (mobile carrier) shop to check my subscription status.

I waited my turn and it took me more than one hour to check my status.

I found out that I was charged monthly for TV, music and many more services which I called to terminate 18 months ago.

It cumulated USD 900.

Today, we are asked to check the status on the system to save paper and cost.

I thought I don’t mind it, but these additional services are listed at the very bottom which I overlooked.

Today, I asked a shop to send the statement by post.

Ahhhhh, I’m not a digital person as I thought…..

Well, I was at Docomo from 3 pm – 6 pm.

I had time to look around.

There are many key chains stuffed in baskets.

I thought these look cute and goofy.

I asked for one and got six.

I plan to give these to my niece.

I hope she would like them.

Summary of My Week

I was rushing to places past few days and returned home after midnight.

I try to blog everyday; but I didn’t have stamina to do so.

Therefore, I decided to upload the summary.

On Friday, we went to Indian Restaurant Khan Kebab a Biriyani @ Ginza.

Sometimes, I get disappointed with food that requires many types of spices.

I understand the restaurant might face trouble sourcing the spices or simply trying to save cost.

But at this restaurant, I enjoyed every food.

On Saturday, after our field trip to the cutting edge Japanese innovation center TEPIA, we explored Tokyo.

TEPIA is quite interesting to visit.

You can also participate in Japanese innovation.

This is the Nissin Cup Noodle Dancing Robot.

The robot dances for three minutes while waiting for a noodle.

It’s a nice three minutes timer.

Then we went to Shibuya.

I enjoyed Kebab at Saray Kebab at Shibuya.

I had Kebab rice with humms and cherry drink.

Delicious♪

I also went to Harajuku.

The crepe was introduced in here; therefore, it is a fashion to eat a crepe here.

I ordered one.

I had Angel’s Heart strawberry crepe.

On the show window, there are six pieces of strawberries, a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate; but I had only two pieces of strawberries and mainly tasting whipped cream.

There are many crepe stalls; you should try others.

I decided to post bads as well.

I had a bad experience on Friday.

My friend bought watches as sourvenir at Don Quijote Ginza (we call the retails Donki for short).

Before ringing a cashier, we asked if they could set the time to Malaysian time which is one hour earlier than Japan.

Two sales persons said they would do, but we were told we need to purchase them first.

Fair enough, so my friend bought watches.

Then the lady who did cashier started telling me we cannot ask them to set the time because they are busy.

I told her we asked in advance and they said okay, it is not fair that the store asked us to purchase and after we purchase refuse to do what you promised.

She was bitching all the way.

But I kept quiet because I wanted everything to be processed.

Luckily, we asked them to set the time because one of them was out of battery.

This bitching lady needed to process it again, so she was really bitching.

But I don’t understand why she was so angry because the total amount was more than USD 500.

Then later we found out that she punched wrongly.

The amount was overcharged.

There is a tag saying, if you buy four, the price is JPY 2500.

But she charged JPY 1000 each.

Next day, we went back.

She was there again and told us the store won’t refund if we don’t have every merchandises with its barcode.

The scene was about to get nasty, then a lady cut in.

I explained all the situation by showing a photo of price tag, pointing the actual signage and showing receipt.

This nice lady quickly apologized and processed to refund.

But the bitching lady was still bitching in Japanese.

And a man, I don’t know what’s his position, but he was siding this bitching lady by saying “you are right, you did the right thing” in front of customers.

I don’t understand them.

She overcharged a customer and it’s okay?

When we settle this, the price tag isn’t there any more.

The store must have taken it away quickly.

Luckily, I took a photo before they took it out.

This made me realized I need to write something bads as well, to protect consumers like us.

We went to other Donki, but they assisted us nicely and so as other stores.

Watch out the lady at Donki Ginza 2nd Floor watch section, she overcharges and she thinks it’s right to bitch in front of foreign customers in Japanese.

She made me shame.

My friends from overseas thought Japanese are nice; but She succeeded to give a different impression to them who visited Japan for first time.

Luckily, they met more Japanese during their stay so they know she is the exceptional case.

After Harajuku, we went to Akihabara and had sushi.

The sushi restaurant strategically uses iPads to assist foreign visitors in many languages.

Too bad I didn’t take any pictures at Akihabara.

Perhaps, next time.

On Sunday, I catch up on my sleep because I need to go back to office as usual tomorrow.

My Favorite Drinks: Smoothie and Wine

I’ve been enjoying a cup of smoothie every morning since I bought a smoothie maker, Tescom TMV 1100.

Today, I went to buy a lunch box. (Yes, I was lazy making lunch today….).

I found a nice lunch box, but I thought I should take more veggies.

I bought smoothies which were on promotion – discount.

I tried a green smoothie, but surprisingly it’s sweet.

I opened it to check its greeness.

Hummm, my green smoothie is much more delicious.

Now I enjoy making my own recipe smoothie.

Today’s Recipe:  Contrex water (200 ml), orange (60g), spinach (40g), apple (60g) and carrot (30g)

For dinner, I enjoyed another favorite drink: few glasses of wine.

Wine is also good, right?

Polyphenol!

Yes, I should be careful, not to over drink.

Well, this one is special……

Corton Clos Du Roi Grand Cru 2010 (Beaune, France)

Wine is so delicate….yet, enhancing food….

It’s not cheap (USD 125), but worth trying it once.

Protein Charge

I got the name of a nice BBQ restaurant in the neighborhood last night: Dedesuke Ginza.

I couldnt wait; I went to Dedesuke Ginza TODAY for early dinner.

Meats are so FRESH!

I enjoyed every dishes!

It is highly recommended to go to this restaurant if you are a meat lover.

Food is fresh, place is clean and price is reasonable!

Don’t worry; English menu and foreign language speaking staffs (English and Chinese) are available.

After dinner, I was so full and could enjoy a walk in Ginza.

Earlier today, I spotted an electric business card recorder and electric memo pad on the magazine.

According to a magazine, I can find these at Ginza Itoya.

I was in Ginza already; I went to Ginza Itoya Annex to check out these.

I love visiting Ginza Itoya because we can find many innovative stationeries there!

It’s so much fun to walk around the building♪

Good exercise, too!

ThinkPad X1

The other day I mentioned I got a new office PC.

It’s a tablet PC so easy to mobilize it.

I wanted to download few apps for Lenovo Pen so I brought it back home.

Yes, let’s mobilize it!

To protect a screen, I attached a keyboard as a cover, but I can detach it.

I can even hold it vertically.

I have been wanting to take a note on tablets.

Unfortunately, Apple Pencil doesn’t work on my iPad mini and so as this pen. Boo hoo.

I downloaded an app named Plumbago.

This is good for artistic work like drawing.

I cannot keep it vertically.

And this one, Nebo,  is interesting.

I can keep the screen both way (vertically and horizontally) and this is the interesting feature…my hand writing will change to typed letters.

How clever!

Nebo would be a good app to take notes. fufufu

Yes, I suppose I should work hard, but this is a fun toy!

I’ll explore more about this toy!

Thank You Amazon!

I received two products which I ordered last Saturday night.

My camellia oil for hair is about to finish so I ordered Moroccan Oil.

This oil has been on beauty magazines for quite some time; must be good.

I also received a smoothie maker: TESCOM TMV 1100.

This smoothie maker is unique, it’s a vacuum smoothie maker.

There won’t be any air in a cup to oxidize the smoothie; therefore, smoothie will be FRESH and we can KEEP the smoothie fresh.

I can make it at night and enjoy it next morning.

How nice!

I wanted to try a smoothie tonight; but I had no energy after gym.

I will study a manual book and recipe book in a bed Zzzz
