Peace & Sukiyaki

I don’t want to talk about politics on my blog.

I just pray for the world peace.

In Tokyo, the temperature dropped; it’s only 8C now.

It’s a nice season to enjoy babe (pot dish).

I cooked sukiyaki (beef with vegetables) tonight.

I’ve been eating outside and oh no, I gained few kg…it’s time to cook and eat healthy. f^_^;

Hanamaru Udon

We order a base Udon (noodle) from a menu and pick additional side dishes such as tempura – those are charged.

I added few tempura and Inari (rice wrapped by tofu) as additional side dishes and free toppings such as tenkasu (tempura bits), sesame and ginger.

It’s economical and fun to create an own Udon.

Golf at J Tsurugashima Golf Country Club

I am a lucky person enabling to play golf three consecutive week.

Of course, I am not happy with my game coz I misshoot how many strokes?

Yes, I do think over and over “what if…?” theory, but it’s too late.

But I’m still thankful that I could spend a wonderful day at J Tsurugasaki Country Club today.

It’s a nice challenging course.

By the way, J Tsurugashima serves delicious lunch.

I had Oyakodon (family rice bowl – chicken and egg rice bowl) and it’s nice!

I highly recommend Oyakodon!

For dinner, we went to our favorite tempura shop, Mikaku Roppongi.

Good exercise, good food…now I need good sleep!

Good night!

Genghis Khan at Kanda Genghis Oh (Genghis King)

We call this Japanese style Mongolian mutton BBQ, Genghis Khan.

I was wondering why we call this Hokkaido’s local food, Genghis Khan, naming after a founder and emperor of the Mongal Empior.

Today, I find out this is actually Mongolian food. hahaha

Japanese are good at modifying in Japanese way: name, food, English vocabulary, business style, etc.; simultaneously, good at creating confusions to international people. hahaha

I would recommend this restaurant because mattons are so fresh and serves a lot of bean sprouts and green onions!

It’s so delicious!

Weekend in Hakone (Hot Spring Bath Area)

On the way to Hakone, we had a bite at Ebine Service Area.

American Dog (middle left) is innovated in Japan; it’s a nice snack, deep fried flour covered sausage (middle left).

To be honest with you, I recommend to try convenient store one. hahaha

Other snacks are pao, chashao pao (roasted pork bun), and shaomai (steamed meat dumpling).

Later, I managed to see Mt. Fuji; this is today’s Mt. Fuji♪

Then checked in at Kishu Tetsudo Hakone Gora Hotel.

Hakone is famous for hot spring area; after check-in, we dipped in a hot spring bath before dinner.

My body appreciated this dipping after participating in Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2016.

While our body were still hot, we had beer; this beer has a unique label: Hakone Sapporo Beer.

Yeah, dinner!

And of course, we need nice sake to enjoy them: Atsukan (hot local sake, Hakoneyama).

I’ll dip again before I go to futon. fufufu

Oyasuminasai.

One Sunday

I wanted to play golf today, but it rained heavily.

We decided to practice at a driving range.

It was a good practice, but I miss playing golf; I played my last game in December 2015…2015…

Yes, it was unfortunate that it rained heavily….

For dinner, cooked Kamonabe (duck pot).

It was delicious with variety of vegetables: shiitake mushroom, bunashimeji mushroom, enoki mushroom, hakusai (Chinese cabege), mizuna (potherb mustard), and negi (green onion).

After enjoying duck and vegetables, we cooked  zosui (porridge) with this delicious stock by adding egg and rice.

I was recommended to enjoy it with umeboshi (sour plum) and surprisingly, it’s goooood.

I enjoyed my dinner with Kirin’s seasonal beers.

I’m not a beer expert, but this is how enjoyed… Akiaji (ale, right) and Izayoinotsuki (pilsunar, left).

Both of them are nice in each way; I would recommend you to try them.

Autumn is harvest time; I’m glad to be Japanese to enjoy seasonal food and drink♪

Tempura @ Mikaku, Roppongi

I had a nice Tempura dinner♪

This Tempura restaurant, Mikaku, cooks tempura one by one in front of us.

I can enjoy hot and crispy tempura during dinner!

Some vegetables are freshly collected from their own vegetable farm.

A casual Tendon (tempura over a bowl of rice), is served during lunch.

Next time, I should try their Tendon for lunch!

Tsukiji de Kaisendon and Home Spa♪

My friend visited me and we had lunch at their favorite food at favorite place: fresh seafood at Tsukiji.
Tsukiji de Kaisendon (I had a bowl of seafood at Tsukiji).

It was so fresh! Yammy

And they gave me their products: Tanamera Spa products.

These Malaysian spa products are so natural and tropical!

Please look for Tanamera Spa when you visit Kuala Lumpur and Langkawii, Malaysia.

Tonight, I tried their Hibiscus Scrub; it has nice spicy aroma and I feel like I just had a good massage after scrubbing my body with it.

This product must have some essential oil because my skin is moist.

I cannot wait to use Tropican Pandan Bath Powder, serum and Neroli essential oil.

Thank you for thinking of me!

XOXO
