Day 1 at Magic Kingdom

I had an exciting week this week.

I took few days off to go to Magic Kingdom!

Went to one of official Tokyo Disney Resort Hotels, Hilton Tokyo Bay, to drop my car and luggage.

We took a Hilton’s shuttle bus to Maihama Station/Tokyo Disney Land.

There is the Welcome Center for official Disney hotels, including Hilton Tokyo Bay.

If you are taking a train to Maihama Station, you can check-in and drop your luggage here so that you can go straight to Disney without wasting any minute.

Then, took a Disney monorail to Disney Sea!

Monorail excites me because it’s filled with Mickeys!

I mean many Mickey!

Even the view looks different through this cute Mickey window!

Yes, we are all dressed up for Disney!

When we reached there, we were greeted by Mickey and others by their show: Perfect Christmas! MICKEY!

We watched another show: Broadway Big Band Beat.

We took a ride: Nimo & Friends Sea Rider.

I forgot to take a photo of Aquatopia because a queue was so short that I didn’t have to wait at all, just walk in. Yeah!

It was raining so we decided to return hotel for resting and dinner.

On the way out, I bought blueberry popcorns with Duffy popcorn case.

I can buy Duffy Popcorn Case only at Disney Sea at selected popcorn wagon.

We met Mickey at the exit.

Hummmm, how to meet him privately to take a photo with him…?

We took a Mickey bus from Bay Side Station to Hilton Tokyo Bay.

At the entrance, there is a play area for children.

Many children also enjoy watching trains.

We stayed at Magic Family Room for a little niece.

We received a letter when we checked-in and it says I can meet a girl, Tiara, who is studying magic in a mirror.

There is a key in a room and it lights up.

I also enjoyed lying on a bunk bed. hahaha

After room inspection, we went to enjoy buffet dinner.

Then we returned to Disney Sea for Colour of Christmas.

Also visited Mermaid Lagoon to enjoy rides, too.

I queued for Indiana Jones Adventure twice in the past; however, both time I couldn’t get on due to a system error.

But that night, I finally rode… twice!

It was awesome.

Yes, we enjoyed very well for the first day at the Magic Kingdom!

Miscalculation

Ahhhhhh

I miscalculated.

I’ve been exercising so I thought I can eat bit more; I’ve been eating out to escape from the office to get fresh.

However, I didn’t understand calories and I’ve been miscalculating.

Now I’m thinking over my diet because I’ve gained weight, though I exercise.

I finally cooked and checked calories for what I ate today…it’s over calories…

I brought lunch so I thought I saved calories to eat cookies (it was additional 200 calories).

This was my dinner (I need to consider menu to look photogenic. ahaha).

I added natto (fermented soy beans).

With these simple food, my total calory for a day is still over about 400 calories.

Hummm I’m taking few days off to go to Disney Tokyo from tommorrow.

I’m going to stay there to enjoy food, too…

I’ll be more careful on ordinary days so that I can enjoy special occasion like tomorrow.

HFriday, Saturday and Sunday

On Thursday, after arranging flower, I stayed up late busily cleaning up my room because Mom wanted to stay over night on Friday after her visit to the dentist.

Out dentist is walking distance from my place.

Mom was already at my room when I got home.

Mom brought her homemade food; it’s always nice.

We were both tired coz Mom was busy cooking and I was busy cleaning so we went to bed early.

Next day, after lunch, Mom went back home.

I went to hair salon and grocery shopping.

I wasn’t keen to cook these days; but I should care what I eat.

To escape from the office, I’ve been eating out for lunch.

In addition, I went out for dinner…meaning I’ve eating too much.

On Sunday, suddenly I care my food; trying to be healthy.

The drink is special: it’s mixture of tomato juice and daikon (Japanese radish) juice.

Daikon helps detoxing.

My friend who has food allergy taught me this.

Today, I went back to Akihabara to pick up a housing for GoPro Hero 6 that I ordered.

It will enable to go down deep as 60 m. Wow.

Well, I had to return to Akihabara for more important matter.

I needed to request for exchange of GoPro because it doesn’t get charged…

I got a new one and the sales staff checked the camera before handed it over to me.

Now it works!

I cooked dinner to  e healthy.

I had persimmon for dessert; this year, I just love persimmons!

Little Santas

After Halloween, the town is in Christmas mood.

On the way to the office, it caught my eyes…cute Little Santas!

I should press my iPhone against glass to kill reflection, but I was too shy to leave my finger prints on sparkling wiped FENDI boutique glass!!!

You might need to enlarge a photo to see them; there are many cute Little Santas with FENDI sacks!!!

This is a show window of FENDI boutique at Ginza Six, Ginza.

Dinner at Shokkan, Solamachi, Sky Tree, Tokyo

I attended dinner function on behalf of my boss who is on leave.

Th restaurant is located at Sky Tree, the tallest building and communication tower in Japan with height of 634 m.

This nice Japanese cuisine restaurant, Shokkan is located on 30th Floor with a great view.

Of course, during the function, I couldn’t take any photos, but I arrived earlier to explore the area.

At the bottom of the Sky Tree, there is a shopping area named Solamachi, meaning sky town.

It was fun walking around the area till dinner time.

Though, there aren’t any photos of food, Japanese food was presented nicely by admiring and it was delicious.

When I’m in Asakusa area, I should make a reservation for dinner here to save cost for visiting observation room:  JPY 2,500. hahaha

Akiba Girl

Today, I went to Yodobashi Camera Akihabara to buy GoPro Hero 6.

On the internet, I found new GoPro, GoPro Hero 6, is available in the market.

I wear waiting for a new GoPro for diving.

Yes, I got it!!

A box is big, but I got only few pieces.

I placed an order for casing for 60 m under water.

I’m still trying to figure out how to operate it on the internet because it dosen’t come with a manual.

After purchase it, I had nice ramen at Ifu, Akihabara, Tokyo.

I had Noukou Miso Ramen Special (Thick Miso with all-Cheshu (pork), egg, nori (seaweed), negi (leeks)).

Egg was hidden under leeks, but there was a nice flavored egg.

It’s nice Ramen!

Today, I was Akiba Girl to check electronics at Akihabara, Tokyo.

On the other hand, Tokyo was busy receiving President Trump.

Tokyo is decorated by American and Japanese flags and many roads are blocked for security reasons. Ahhhhh

Quality Time with Uncle & Aunty

The other day I gave a lift to my uncle.

It was nothing because going by two (Mom and I) or three (Uncle, Mom and I) are the same.

However, he want to show his appreciation by inviting us (Mom and I) to his apartment.

It was nice of them to prepare high-tea for us.

I was driving so Uncle prepared non-alcohol beer for me.

My first time to try Suntory All-Free and surprisingly, it’s nice and rich in hop.

We chatted for four hours non-stop.

Uncle showed off his collection of mint and coins.

I didn’t know that he is a collector!!

These are few of his collection.

To show his appreciation, he gave me the Silver Coin for the 60th Anniversary of Enforcement of the Local Autonomy Law.

There are 47 coins for 47 prefectures: of course, he has all 47 coins for 47 prefectures.

He has two sets for Tokyo Prefecture to give me one.

It’s so beautiful and comes together with memorial stamps.

He has nine coins for memorial of nine Shinkansen in set.

He gave me loose ones; it’s equally nice as a set.

He also gave me loose coins for Japan 47 Prefectures Coin Programme for Tokyo and Chiba prefecture version.

Thank you; I’ll keep them nicely.

After spending wonderful time with Uncle and Aunty, we had Italian dinner with Dad near from home.

We reported all to him and showed my new collection of coins. hahaha
