Tonight’s Flower Arrangement

I had a busy day and I needed flower to calm me down.

Tonight we use a photo frame and arrange flower as if it’s a part of painting.

I arrived class late and my mind was in the mess; it took me some time to decide flower and design.

I didn’t have time to check the size of photo frame, but I think I did pretty okay.

When I finished arranging it, I felt peaceful.

I don’t have an empty photo frame at home so I arranged it like this.

Bontan-ame

There is a stall at Shinagawa Station to promote and sell local food and handicrafts.

The theme will change every week to attract massive commuters and train users.

A stall is promoting Kyushu area’s local food and I bought this jumbo size Bontan-ame (bontan citrus flavored soft candy).

I can say this is one of Japanese traditional candies because the company in Kagoshima has been producing it for 90 years, since 1926!

I also bought a regular size to compare the size.

You can see how big it is, right!!

And surprise, surprise, four baby Bontan-ame come out from a Jumbo size!

This Bontan-ame is special because it reminds me of my grandmother.

When I was little, I told her I like this candy.

Since then she bought it every time I visited her.

One day I told her I have grown up and she can stop buying it.

But she kept on buying.

Yes… I miss her…

Sky is high…

These days I’m busy looking at mobile.

I forgot to charge my mobile at office and to bring a power bank.

The battery is low so I looked outside from train.

I haven’t looked up sky for long time.

Though I was on crowded train, I felt peaceful while I was looking outside: interesting shape of clouds, beautiful color of sky because sun is setting, recognizing buildings, etc.

Or I just needed to calm MYSELF down.

What a Monday!

Tokyo was hit by Typhoon 9.

It brought much rain and caused floods, land slides, black out, etc.

I am lucky that I’m not affected by this typhoon.

Well, typhoon is a good excuse to leave office early tonight.

I decided to bully my trainer by going to gym.

Poor him, others cancelled a session because trains might get suspended.

Well, at last, I showed up as promised. hehehe

After exercise, I cooked my lazy dinner.

Baby leaves, lettuce, white radish, green onion, boiled pork with ponzu sauce (citrus flavored soy sauce).

This dish is simple, but very refreshing.

And Rio Olympics ended.

Next is our turn, Tokyo Olympics 2020!

Relaxing Sunday

I started my day going to gym today because I wanted to watch an episode of Suites. hahaha

I came back home to take a bath; I like to take a bath in the morning.

It’s very relaxing.

Then I went to beauty salon.

I look forward to going to beauty salon because I enjoy talking to my beautician.

We talk about everything and surprisingly we can share many stories, too because we bump each other often: on the street, at a station and a restaurant.

After chatting, I brewed Peet’s Coffee.

It’s nice and rich.

Peet’s Coffee originated in Berkeley, California.
And this Peet’s Coffee inspired founders of Starbucks to start coffee shops.
Yes, it’s that nice.

I bought few packs when I visited L.A. last time, July 2015, but I finished them.

Recently, I got supply from my American friend.
When can I get my next supply…?

Healthy Saturday

It rained heavily in the morning; and a weather alert was announced from a speaker.

However, rain stopped when I finished my brunch (roti canai, peach, banana and pineapple & mango juice).

After my brunch, I went to my monthly magma spa @ Marunoichi Bricks Square.

The weather was okay then.

The weather is crazy in Tokyo nowadays.

Closed again…

I went to gym last night, but it was closed.

I didn’t get close to the signboard because it was raining last night and I thought it was every other Thursday’s maintenance day.

I went to gym tonight and it was closed again…

I checked the signboard, it says it will close from Thursday to Saturday.

I miss my Suits…amd I start feeling good going to gym.

Sunday then…
