Dilemma

I knew my dermatologist will ask me to stop going to the pool.

I went to the pool to walk; of course, I didn’t put my face down to water throughout my exercise – uhh…walking.

I haven’t washed my swimming cap because it’s never wet.

I walked for 30 mins and I took a shower immediately after I finish my exercise.

BUT my face got red.

After seeing my face, my dermatologist told me “I should stop going to pool” and gave me extra medicines to kill bacterias.

According to him, chlorine can be contained in vapor rising from a heated pool.

Hummmm

If I work out with machines, my knees get damaged.

If I walk at the pool, my face gets red.

Either way, I require a Doctor and treatment.

It seems I spend money to creat a trouble… hummm

I cannot do much about it so I should think of now.

It was warm yesterday; some days it might get warmer now.

I opened a LION Ban Premium Roll (nano ion block deodorant) and Biore Body wipes (the aroma will change from lime soda to peach. I cannot wait to try it!).

Now, I should get ready for Spring!

Debut at Pool♪

I debut at pool today. Horay!

I went to gym pool this morning because my physical therapist recommended me to walk in the pool for twenty mins three times a week.

I’m sorry if I disappoint you; I went to pool to walk, not to swim. hahaha

It was fun to walk in pool and I felt gooooood because I could occupy (not fully occupied to myself) quiet moment at  the pool, shower booth and powder room.

This is my new bathing suits.

I have few bikinis for beach, but not for gym.

Unfortunately, my body requires a lots of tune-up before wearing bikini to gym pool.

Yes, one day, I want to wear a sexy outfit to gym.

This morning was a very productive Saturday morning.

After returning from gym, I went to brunch with my old friend from Kyoto.

We had Egg Benedict and coconuts pancakes at Eggcellent, Roppongi Hills.

We had so much to catch up. fufufu

Golf Balls as Healing Tools

My physical therapist told me my ankles are hard and recommended me to roll golf balls with my arch of foot.

Then I realize I should bring these golf balls to office and roll them while I’m working!

I can save time; simultaneously refresh at the office!

Don’t you think that’s a brilliant idea?

I shall try it!

Vacuum-Packed Smoothie

I made a green smoothie last night and vacuum-packed to save it for breakfast.

It was nice and time saving for morning.

In the afternoon, a Pakistan’s traditional sweet, Laddo, was delivered.

According to an introduction sheet, this sweet is usually distributed during joyous occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, birth, etc.

It’s made of ground chickpeas, flour, pumpkin seeds, raisons, almond, sugar and deep fried in vegetable oil.

It was my first time to try it and it was nice.

I had one.

Yes, I saw oil; therefore, decided to have a green smoothie for dinner.

Well, tonight, I went to gym; tonight’s exercise will cancel it, right?

Thank You Amazon!

I received two products which I ordered last Saturday night.

My camellia oil for hair is about to finish so I ordered Moroccan Oil.

This oil has been on beauty magazines for quite some time; must be good.

I also received a smoothie maker: TESCOM TMV 1100.

This smoothie maker is unique, it’s a vacuum smoothie maker.

There won’t be any air in a cup to oxidize the smoothie; therefore, smoothie will be FRESH and we can KEEP the smoothie fresh.

I can make it at night and enjoy it next morning.

How nice!

I wanted to try a smoothie tonight; but I had no energy after gym.

I will study a manual book and recipe book in a bed Zzzz

Short Trip to Canada (Day 3)

Today is the day for Canadian Rockies hunting.

Eat well, prepare well.

First, went to the Banff National Park to see the Bow Fall.

However, it’s cold and snowing; it’s difficult to find a fall itself in the photo.

It’s at left side of photo.

Then, visited the Surprise Corner where we could take a nice photo of our hotel, Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

Today I also enjoyed a nice walk in snow at Johnston Canyon.

I walked for 1.3 km to lower falls.

I admired nature in many ways.

Water is frozen; and it’s in nice blue.

Limestone

This is lower falls; it’s just amazing.

Water is so blue…

This is a good photo spot for Morant’s Curve if I manage to catch a train.

We had lunch at Fairmont Chateau Louise.

This hotel is located just in front of Lake Louise.

Lake Loise is overlooked by Victoria Glaicer.

During the winter, Lake Loise become a skate link.

I had lunch at LAGO..

After lunch, it was time for exercise.

I wear snowshoes to go to Paint Lake.

It was a long way to the lake.

Peyto Lake.

I manage to see Rockies as well.

It was worth walking there.

Bow Lake
It’s covered by snow; I cannot tell it’s a lake or great plain.

Crowfoot Glacier

The glaicier is in a shape of crowfoot.

Castle Mountain

The shape of mountains are in shape of castle…?

Vermilion Lake

This lake will turn into red with sunset.

Today, it remained in WHITE.

The last spot is observation point overlooking Banff.

There is a group of Big Horn Sheep and the Sulfur Mountain.

There is a natural hot spring at the Sulfur Mountain.

Unfortunately, I don’t have time to try it this time; therefore, I bought a packet of this to try the Banff Hot Spring at home.

It is Christmas Eve.

I had turkey and Christmas desserts for dinner.

By the way, Marilyn Monroe stayed in this hotel and this is the proof.

She took a film of “A River of No Return” here in Banff.

I’m glad that I’m spending my Christmas here.

I wish you Merry Christmas!

Short Trip to Canada (Day 2)

Sun rises rate in Vancouver at 8:10 am; could it be due to its high latitude?

I enjoyed viewing Vancouver from the hotel observation restaurant.

Unfortunately, it’s raining, but it’s okay because I will move to Banff for the main activities, visiting Canadian Rockies.

While waiting for the boarding time, I enjoyed a nice cup of French Vanilla at Tim Hortons (Canadian Coffee Shops that is not available in Japan).

Just nice, it’s boarding time!

Wow, it’s snowing in Calgary.

Touched down…

The luggage turn table is so cute!

It’s snowing and -6C outside; because of snow, there were few accidents causing a heavy traffic.

It took us three hours to reach Banff.

Checked-in at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel; it’s like a castle.

The place is nicely decorated for Christmas.

It was fun to walk around the premises.

I also had a nice Alberta Beef with Canadian red wine (Cedar Creek) and Ice Wine (Pilliteri) for dinner.

Now I will rest in nice room.

It’s Monday, but Feeling Like Friday Already

One of my colleagues is retiring in December.

We organized a gathering at her favorite lunch place: SAL (buffet lunch at the Imperial Hotel).

It’s nice sunny day and the town is in nice Autumn color.

I’m going to miss her; we promised to keep in touch.

Lunch was great.

I knew my gym trainer gets upset if I skip a session tonight after overeating like this.

Well, he tortured me tonight.

I knew my body is stiff, but he concluded my tendon is stiff after stretching my body.

He kept on pushing the point and it hurt so much!

But after the session, my legs feel light…hummmm

If my body is stiff; I should take a nice bath.

I like KNEIPP Gute Nacht.

I found this set.

The package includes a small bottle of Sakura bath salts which is not available in the Japan market and rose organic moisturizing oil for the price of one KNEIPP.

I tried Sakura bath salts tonight and I feel relaxing now.

The Shikoku Pilgrimage: Day 9 (Last Day)

Today is the last day and still need to visit 11 temples to complete.

My favorite ice cream was served as breakfast. Yeah!

No. 11 Fujiidera (Fujii Temple)

Unfortunately, it was raining.

Mummmm it was cold and difficult to conduct the ritual.

There is a gorgeous dragon drawn on the ceiling.

No. 10 Kiriharaji (Kirihara Temple)

Started the count down…

No. 9 Horinji (Horin Temple)

There are so many people trying to reserve space under the roof to practice.

No. 8 Kumadaniji (Kunadani Temple)

I thought these guardians look strong!

No. 7 Jurakuji (Juraku Temple)

The gate is called Ryugu Mon (Ryugu Gate).

Ryugu is a kingdom in the ocean.

I think this gate is cute.

No. 6 Anrakuji (Anraku Temple)

The garden is beautiful.

Today, this temple provides hot spring here.

I wish I had time to dip.

Perhaps, next time…

No. 5 Jizoji (Jizo Temple)

This temple’s Daishido is nicely decorated; so sophisticated.

I ate a local (Tokushima’s) snack at a car.

This is chikuwa (fish cake/surimi) on a bamboo.

A bamboo gives nice flavor and aroma.

No. 4 Dainichiji (Dainichi Temple)

A bowl of hot Udon noodle warmed my body. Yammy!

No. 3 Konsenji (Konsen Temple)

Another well to check my reflection.

I can see myself! Yeah!!!

No. 2 Gokurakuji (Gokuraku Temple)

This is a carrying Buddha; making a wish while carrying Buddha.

Buddha’s foot print.

Splash Fumyodo-oh (Acala) to make a wish.

No. 1 Ryozenji (Ryozen Temple)

The last temple.

I was overwhelmed; I started crying.

I felt calm and peace; the place is gorgeous and holly.

I completed…

I completed…time to go back to my ordinary life, but I won’t be the same.

I learned many things through this trip.

I enjoyed an obento (packed meal) on Shinkansen (bullet train) back home.

I’m grateful that I could conduct this exercise.

Yes, I would like to conduct this exercise again!!
